Chair,<br>\nAt present, the relationship between ROK and Japan faces its greatest crisis ever.<br>\nThis has much to do with current issue of mobilized wartime Korean labourers.<br>\nThe Korean judicial ruling and governmental attitude derive from erroneous belief that Korean labourers were forcibly abducted and made to work like slaves.<br>\nHowever, many Koreans went to Japan voluntarily, and conscription was practiced according to legal process.<br>\nWages were paid impartially to all workers, Japanese and Koreans alike.<br>\nTheir wages were very high.<br>\nAnd then, wartime Korean labourers lived a free and easy life.<br>\nKorean and Japanese scholars and politicians who exaggerate and distort history should stop such kind of arguments.<br>\nWe want this council to recommend ROK government as follows,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Korean government to investigate this historical issue solely based on the primary evidences rather than distorted evidences from unknown sources,<\/li><li>Korean government needs to cooperate with Japanese government in order to solve this problem, before the relationship become bankrupt.<br>\nThank you for
